Gombe House Tripod
An additional tripod location appears in Tanzania inside a house in Gombe National Park. It sits next to the standard Generation 3 trekker coverage.
ArchitectureTanganyika Forested Hills
On Lake Tanganyika near Gombe National Park, a boat trekker follows the coast very closely with the shore to the east. The hills are mostly covered in tropical forest, with some bare and grassy hilltops.
VegetationHilltop Grassland
On top of the hills, trees give way to a bare grassland landscape. These areas have views of the surrounding landscape and Lake Tanganyika.
VegetationOpen Highland Forest
At higher elevations on hills, the forest becomes more open. Savannah-like trees may appear in these areas.
VegetationSparse Coverage
Coverage is sparse and not on streets. Territory-identification metas are not useful here; memorizing the appearance of trekkers and tripods is more useful.
VegetationKilimanjaro Highlands
Mount Kilimanjaro tripods show a high-altitude landscape with dark grey rock and, in some places, snow visible in the distance. Some panos also show mountaineers and tents.
TerrainGombe Park Trek
A walking trek passes through a large part of Gombe National Park. The landscape varies somewhat from place to place.

OtherTrekkers, Tripods, Spills
Tanzania’s trekkers and tripods are not pinpointable and are not on roads, so they typically do not appear in serious competitive maps. Spills do appear in maps from time to time.
OtherLowland Jungle Coverage
In lowland parts, dense jungle and very little sunlight can lead to dark coverage. Chimpanzees may sometimes be visible.
