South Barishal Corn Patches

Smaller patches of corn can be found in the south of Barishal. They are usually adjacent to other crops.

Border Ridge in Haze

A sizable east-west ridge is visible on the Indian border from the northern parts of Sylhet and eastern Mymensingh. Heavy haze often obscures or diminishes it.

Rice Fields Border Area

Vast rice fields with almost nothing else in view can be seen in the border area between Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet. The landscape is defined by open agricultural land.

Off-Season Rice Fields

Rice fields may be left barren during the off-season, with empty fields visible in some areas. These off-season fields are mostly seen in Dhaka state, north of the Padma River.

Ripe Rice Regions

Fully-grown rice is noticeably taller and has a yellow or orange colour with fluffier tips, which indicates ripeness. It is mostly seen in Rajshahi, and also appears in Rangpur and Chittagong.

Green Rice in Regions

Slightly taller rice that is still green and in the middle of growing can be seen in Rangpur, Barishal, and Chittagong.

Early Growth Rice

Short green rice barely sticking out of the water is known as early growth rice. It can be seen in Khulna, Mymensingh, and south of the Padma River in Dhaka.

Bangladesh 4G Coverage

In Bangladesh, Generation 4 coverage will often have a smoky feel. Use that as a clue when identifying the country.
